"LOOK DOWN"





 I know that New Orleans is noted for its beautiful manhole covers but this next little find takes this 'down to earth' art form to a whole new level.

    They're definitely cute. But I prefer the typical silver ones. NYC has some great manhole covers. I think people are stealing them now.

    They are stealing them in New Orleans. You would think they could be locked in some manner.

    It's funny Annie, I've had a photo of a New Orleans manhole cover just like yours I've been trying to figure out an excuse for posting for years. You beat me to it! Congrats! There's some story about the moon and stars graphic that I've forgotten.
