A moment of silence for a country still hurting from the destructive forces of nuclear power.

Lessons are still waiting to be learned.

  1. I've been following this too. The twin bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were the saddest days in humanity's history. For the oldest Japanese citizens who lived through Hiroshima and now face the wrath of Fukushima, it must seem that the country is being pursued by a nuclear demon.

  2. Ugh I can't believe I forgot this anniversary. Despite all the warnings from Washington about what terrible people in the world might be trying to get nukes, let it never be forgotten which country actually used them, and against civilians.
