As much as I read the internet I had no idea today was Betty White's birthday. Good for you Annie! I love her. Remember her on the Mary Tyler Moore show?
She's 89 today. What a wonderful career. Yes, I loved her on MTM show - in fact I can't think of a time I haven't loved her, going way back when she was a 'girl-Friday' for the Al Jarvis Show in 1949. She is a personal favorite of Craig Ferguson and is on his show a lot in little bit-skits.
She's great, and I agree that her best role was on Mare Tyler Moore. How I miss that show. It made Saturday night special and the episodes with "Sue" were some of the best. I'll bet she's still around ten years from now. She's that sort -- tenacious.
