There was a real magic to that show, wasn't there? The only show I can recall that seemed at all similar was Designing Women. They were both comforting to watch because they let you know you weren't crazy for feeling the way you did. Nor were you alone.
I don't know about you, but I've taken Julia Sugarbaker to heart. I rekindle her spirit whenever I get a phone call from an idiot. I reel her out and destroy the person on the phone, thinking of JS all the while. She taught me a lot.
