I watched the movie Tombstone the other night. This 1993 movie starred Kurt Russell as Wyatt Earp and Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday. Fairly often after watching a fictionalized drama I get the urge to Google to get more information. When I checked out Doc Holliday I was struck by his list of occupations: Dentist, Professional Gambler, and Gunfighter! I guess that about says it all. My own list pales in comparison.
LOVE the old west history! I remember tramping through the Deadwood Cemetery in SO Dakota when I was little and we would go up to the Black Hills. It is interesting the debate on where Doc Holiday was actually buried...does it really matter? Just another iece of history that is missing for those who love that sort of thing!
