Coach John Wooden - UCLA This week Sporting News named John Wooden BEST COACH EVER. It's always great to be the best at what you do and there is no doubt that Coach Wooden was the best at what he did. But beyond the game he coached he is an example for all on how to live life. Lucky for those that were closed enough to feel his touch first hand and lucky for us that could experience from his words whether spoken or written.
Thank you Coach for touching our lives and giving us words to live by, "The most important things in the world are family and love. The most important word in our language is 'love'. The word 'hate' we should remove from our vocabulary."
We will try, Coach, we will try.
