Let's see... today Roger Clemens is in court facing a trial where he is accused of lying. The Florida trial of Casey Anthony ended with findings that acquitted her of murder BUT found her GUILTY of lying.
Throughout history there have been liars big and small, masters of deception all. Here is just a short list of some of the all time great liars, maybe you remember some of them:
Frank Abagnale - of 'Catch Me If You Can' fame
Milli Vanilli - musical duo nabbed for not singing
President Nixon - well he decided to cut his losses and run
President Clinton - who didn't have sex with THAT woman
Rosie Ruiz - Boston Non-Marathon Runner
Bernie Madoff - he built his whole world on lies
Baron Munchhausen - rider of cannonballs and traveler to the Moon
Pinocchio - whose nose grew with each little lie
I say we bring back the 'nose growth side effect' of lying, then all we would need would be a good yard stick and to hire some unemployed souls to wander about taking measurements.
