Downtown St. Louis Protestors Free From Jail

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Members of the group Occupy St. Louis have been released from jail after being arrested at Kiener Plaza in a downtown St. Louis.

Police rounded up the protesters early Thursday for curfew violations after they ignored warnings to vacate the park by 10 Wednesday night. All of the protesters were freed by late this afternoon.
A police spokeswoman reports 10 people were arrested. But Colleen Kelly of Occupy St. Louis put the number at eleven, saying a homeless person who supports the movement was also arrested.

Can't wait until St. Louis becomes a 'grown up' city and gets to stay out until after 10:00 pm at night.

Maybe I will hold an Occupy Chesterfield event at Chesterfield City Hall, that way if they arrest me it will be a short walk to the Chesterfield jail.

Don't worry. I'm sure you'll meet interesting, nice people in jail. But aren't these gatherings fun? I'll bet for many, this will be remembered as their Woodstock.
