My friend Keith at The Worlds posted this today, it gave me chills to hear it in the context of today's events. I couldn't resist wanting to pass it along...........wanna play the game too?
Aw Annie!! What a walk down memory lane! The evening news during the 60's and 70's with the helicopters and medics and injured during the Viet Nam war came instantly to mind..."the song remembers when"...truly it does... Mare
Great song...and so timely. It's bittersweet though, that old protest songs are relevant again. I was listening to a 1963 Judy Collins record...and there are songs about immigrants being victimized, coal miners suffering at the hands of mine owners, about big business making money off war, and a woman waiting for her loved one to return from war.

Is that another name for "telephone"? Chinese whispers? Never heard it. I remember it being fun as a kid -- but then, what wasn't?
