I am making the final preparations for my little trip around the world. Suitcases have been pulled out of storage. Neat little piles of clothes and personal items are on the guest bed. All those bottles and bottles of medicine that keep us old folks going are ready to be packed as well.
I will be meeting up with my childhood chum Mollie, now known as Svelte C, on April 21 in Galveston, TX where we board Royal Caribbean's Mariner of the Seas. Then we will sit back and watch the world come to us through our portholes. It is going to be quite the journey and if all works out with Internet connections I am hoping to post thoughts and photos along the way.
If the map doesn't open automatically you can click here to View Full Size Travel Map at Travellerspoint that will show all the stops along the way.
It's really exciting, Annie. I envy you, except for the actual traveling, and all. It's almost time to say "Bon voyage!" It seemed so far off but now it's almost here. Congrats. Should be major fun.
ReplyDeleteBut the neat thing about this travel is I step on the ship in Galveston and 41 days later step off in Singapore. What could be easier than that, no packing and unpacking, waiting for delayed flights ... The date did come fast though.
