The repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell passes the Senate. Read Casey's blog, I couldn't say it any better so I'm not going to even try. The Liberty Bell has been used as a symbol for many causes over the years - Today it "rings" for the gay and lesbian members of the military who may now serve openly and without fear.
thank you. and all the usual Haters are already calling for a repeal of the repeal and vowing to get even in the next Congress with all of the people that voted yes today. and yes, all the usual "religious" groups have signed on:

I say let them make as much noise as they want and let the rest of the country see how bigoted and full of hate all of those groups are.
