Happy 23rd Birthday, Anna. This picture of  Mother and Daughter taken about the same age around eight months old. Anna was born in Honolulu and I remember her blond hair and light eyes being such a novelty to the vacationing Japanese tourists. They would walk great distances across the beach, with their cameras in hand and would ask for a picture. This would even happen at the shopping malls. Somewhere in Japan there are many photos of the little girl on the left - all grown up now and celebrating her  23rd birthday.
